At the age of 19, she released her debut single, Here. The single was a smash and garnered praise from critics and listeners alike. It peaked at number 19 on the Canadian Hot 100 and Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone called the track one of the Top Songs in 2015. In the same year, she released her debut album Know It All, the single Scars to Your Beautiful ranked at the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. The track was also among the first five songs. The song was particularly memorable due to her interview with rapper Rap-Up, many of the listeners were inspired by her story of doubting herself and learning how to love herself. Cara incorporates messages about kindness and loving yourself throughout her songs. Every song Cara sings comes directly from her struggle with depression, insomnia as well as other problems. According to a Reuters interview, she's said that her album was half turbulent and half-perfected. Her growth was aided by therapy and advises people to seek assistance if needed. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on July 11th, 1996. Alessia Cara's parents gave her her first guitar at the age of 10. This was her beginning with music. After three years, at 13 she started singing her favorite tracks on YouTube. It was a great method to demonstrate to the world the fact that she had talent and courage.
