Coleman was from Lancashire and born in the town of Blackpool. She was a headgirl of Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A-levels. If Coleman was asked about her role in Emmerdale she stated that she regrets having not had a traditional university experience. While at school Coleman was part of a theatre company called In Yer Space with whom she was a part of the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. The British Soap Awards of 2009 she was awarded in the categories of Best Actress and Sexiest female in addition to the category for Best acting in a Drama. Coleman was also nominated as Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press event on 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman would be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat chose her for the role because she worked well with Smith and could talk faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the world of entertainment since 1987. She is however, more known for TV projects than movies. Of the many roles Eva has played on TV shows, Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which stand out. Actually, her part as Doctor. Maria Santos from All My Children garnered its 2 Daytime Emmy nominations. This allowed her to showcase her music creativity. Eva isn't just an actor, but an entrepreneur and philanthropist. She is a thrice-married woman and has a daughter with her second partner.
