Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia Azmi (born on April 10, 1986) is a model turned actress from India she primarily appeared on Hindi films. In 2004, Ayesha Takia took home the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her role as the main character on Taarzan The Wonder Car which was her first acting role. The subsequent films she appeared in included Paathshaala (2009) Wanted (2010) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007, 2008) as well as Socha Na Tha (2010). The first time she appeared was in an Complan commercial. In the I'm A Complan Boy, I'm a Complan Girl commercial, she appeared alongside Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. The remix track Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin the singer did appear. The huge success of the tune across India as it was remixed earned her acclaim. Then, she began receiving requests for Bollywood films. Taarzan The Wonder Car was known late to her debut, which was to appear in the film Socha Na Tha but was delayed by production issues. The moral courage of Ayesha was demonstrated in her attack on her father-in-law's political views Samajwadi Party Samajwadi Party member Abu Azmi for his views about the penalty for rape survivors. Ayesha declared her veganism in public when she took part in PETA's Indian advertisement. In 2006, she was listed as one of the Top Desirable Indian Women.
