Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born in South London, England into a family of mixed blood. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss while her mother was English. Her family was lived in a housing estate run by the council in the south of London. When she was fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned a BA degree in acting. She was on stage in many productions while attending school like King Henry V, as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career with the film Storm Damage. She's appeared as a guest on Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's film debut was in Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. In the wake of that film's success her role was Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as appearing in six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside playing Ollie. Also, the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was also a part of the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. The credits she has in her theatre work include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut in the 2009 drama series The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes for The CW before being cancelled. In February, she was cast 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons the show was announced late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to depart the series following a guest appearance in the pilot episode in the season's third. Madekwe starred as Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe and her partner of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also played a part with her on the TV series Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress, who was born into a big family. She was born to Patty and Roy Leggat. She was raised by the parents Roy and Patty along with four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's sports brothers played baseball in summer and hockey during winters. Ashley didn't walk, instead she would dance. At age two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley was addicted to dance since that time. Ashley competed in ballet, tap and jazz at the top divisions. Ashley took home the best soloist prize at each major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among a few.
